Payment Options for Your Dental Care
At Wheat Family Dental, we aim to provide multiple payment options for our dental treatments and offer a range of financing options so that you may benefit from our quality dental care. Our goal is to provide our patients with a comfortable, satisfactory visit, from start to finish.
Our office offers the following payment options for your convenience:
- Personal checks
- Credit cards
- Care credit
Credit cards are one of the most convenient methods of payment. While we accept the majority of card types, we suggest that you call in before visiting our office for your treatment to confirm if we accept your credit card, avoiding any last-minute hassles. If you're visiting our office from out of state, it's also a good idea to notify your credit card company ahead of time to avoid any issues on the day of your appointment.
Many patients find it more convenient to pay in cash and clear the transaction upfront. For starters, this helps to avoid fees and interest down the road. Another common transaction is for patients to pay for half of their treatment in cash and have the remaining portion covered by insurance.
Personal checks are another common method of payment utilized at our office.
Our office accepts CareCredit, a healthcare credit card that is used to pay for out-of-pocket expenses not covered by medical insurance. CareCredit is subject to credit approval, but once you are accepted, you can use it again and again. CareCredit is a great option if you're on a budget, in that you can pay for your dental expenses in installments. Ask us about CareCredit today! Applying is easy, and we are here to answer any questions.
Dental insurance provides coverage for certain dental expenses. It can be offered as a part of the overall medical indemnity or as a separate policy. To better assist patients, our office also processes treatment compensation through dental insurance. Please make sure your insurance plan is currently active as many such policies go into effect months after application approval. In addition, make sure the treatment you‘ll be getting is covered by your insurance agency.
Apart from settling details with providers, we also recommend that you confirm with our office that your insurance package is accepted as there may be some insurance agencies that are not registered with us. If your insurance will be covering your dental services, please make sure to bring your insurance card and a form of ID on the day of your visit.
Dental plans can vary widely in terms of covered services and accepted providers, so it is important that you understand your plan and prepare prior to your appointment. Keep in mind that, if your dental insurance only covers part of your services, there will be a remaining balance for which you can cover using our other payment options.
There is no single type of payment that is best; each payment method has diverse advantages. If you're unsure which option fits your circumstances, contact our team for further information.
