Invisalign: A New Alternative

Your First Visit

During your alignment consultation, our dentist will conduct a dental exam to review the current status of your oral health and to resolve any possible dental problems before treatment. Once the examination has been conducted, our dentist will take impressions of your teeth. These impressions will be used to customize your Invisalign aligners. Invisalign is not suitable for children nor for patients with severe dental issues and sensitivity.

Treatment Time

The duration of treatment with Invisalign depends on your case, but our dentist will be able to provide an accurate timeframe based on your unique alignment issues.

Easy to Maintain

Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign aligners are easy to clean. Our dentist will suggest cleaning them as often as you clean your teeth. To clean them, you simply run them under warm water several times a day.

No Harmful Toxins

A fundamental reason for people to begin opting for Invisalign is that it’s made up of BPA-free plastic and does not have plasticizers or other dangerous toxins that can be released into your mouth.

Aligners Are Transparent

Another reason many patients resort to Invisalign is its transparency. The aligners consist of medical grade plastic components, allowing Invisalign to be discreet. Although they are transparent, they will still be slightly noticeable to someone in close proximity.

Removable

Invisalign aligners can be removed at your convenience. Although our dentist will recommend wearing them as much as possible throughout your treatment, it is nice to have the option to remove them in case of a special event or merely for eating.

Retainer After Treatment

Once you have completed your Invisalign treatment, our dentist will suggest wearing a retainer. The purpose of the retainer is to prevent your teeth from shifting into their pre-treatment position.
